Apostle Anthony Reaves became the founder of Christ International Ministries in 2004. The focus of the vision can be seen below in the latter parts of this Bio.  Shortly after receiving the name for the ministry, Apostle Reaves’s wife received the new name for the ministry from the Lord; which is now C.H.R.I.S.T. Global Ministries. Anthony Reaves was born in Newark New Jersey. He later relocated to Miami, Florida in 1974.  

 

Anthony Reaves then made a new transition by moving to Orlando Florida where he met his true Love Violet Dixon. They got married that same year. Later they had their son Jordan, Jordan completed his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and currently works as a  probation officer in metro Atlanta. In 1979 the lovely couple decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia. Two years later, after moving to Atlanta both Anthony and Violet became saved by Faith in Jesus Christ and were later called and chosen by the Lord to go into full-time ministry in 1982. This calling was not an easy one because their lives were now dedicated to living by example. They had to be an encouragement for both men and women showing them how to live up to their full potential in Christ.

 

The Reaves were called to the streets of Atlanta to rescue lost souls and to give hope to the hopeless. Their dedication and faithfulness resulted in the expansion of these ministries; prisons, hospitals, nursing homes as well as homeless shelters. The prison ministry was led for 25 years. In 1985, the Reaves was ordained in Cleveland Tennessee by the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association. In the same year, H. Richard Hall passes his Apostolic Mantle to Apostle Anthony Reaves, which promoted the foundation of Jesus Living Way Teaching Center with seven members. In 1997 the Lord inspired a name change to hands of compassion Christian Fellowship; this was just the beginning because God continues to refine their mission. In 2004, Apostle Reaves became the founder of Christ International Ministries.

 

God made the focus of the vision clearer for the visionaries. Pastor Violet Reaves his wife received a new name from the Lord for the ministry; which is now called C.H.R.I.S.T. Global Ministries. Because of their dedication to the Lord and the vision for the church Apostle Reaves is now walking in his full calling for more than a decade. He continues to counsel and teach, which enables him to reach others with humor, warmth, strength, and transparency.

 

The Reaves has now launched numerous ministries under their Apostolic covering. They cover these ministries with Spiritual guidance, and they continuously reach others who are willing to follow the high calling! The high calling serves as a platform for developing men and women as well as young adults who are willing to take on the legacy by spreading their wings, ready to fly high and wide, with eyes of an eagle, to reach individuals who are hurt, abandoned, need humor, warmth and the true love of Jesus Christ.
